Mystery Painting

I received this enquiry from someone called Paula.
She has this painting in her possession and wishes to sell it but she knows nothing about it.
The only clue to its identity is that it is signed Bessemer.
Can anyone possibly identify the artist or the subject?
Paula says the size is 20 x 25 (inches I guess).
